135g & 17g Reef Tank Updates: Do you want a high or low maintenance reef tank?

I have two reef tanks currently, the 135g that has all the bells and whistles attached, and the 17g that has barely any equipment needed for a functional reef tank. They are both enjoyable, so what are the major differences?
