Newbie SPS MISTAKE & Fixing Mangrove yellowing leaves!

My Red Mangrove was experiencing rapidly yellowing leaves, here is the possible cause and how we managed to turn it around. Also, made the SPS newbie mistake of putting a Sunset Monti onto the main rock work — oops!
