Should have seen this coming when the Rose Bubble Tip Anemone started moving around out of the blue. It splitted overnight and the tank now has three bubble tip anemones! source

In an effort to combat excess algae growth, I pretty much ripped up the sump and redid a lot of things including bigger return pumps, GFO, filter sock, dosing kalk… etc. source
This is an ugly update. The new male Yasha goby is still MIA after the initial introduction. The dino algae is not receding so I will be covering up the tank again with h2o2 dosing. I plan to start taking steps to raise the tank pH into the 8.3-8.4 range to see if it would […]
Updated my aquascape so the rock structure looks taller and more uniformed. Added the intrusive Blue Clove to the tank… I may regret this decision later. Sadly lost my first coral, the Acan. source

My local reef club WAMAS had it’s largest meeting of the year today. It’s call Frag Fest because there is a free frag give-away at the end of the meeting. The seahorse husbandy talk by Kyle from Seahorse Savvy was superb as well! source
