As the brown diatom dies down, green algae is appearing in my tank, which signifies that the tank parameters are slowly stabilizing. The tank will soon be ready for it’s first batch of clean up crew! source
In an effort to combat excess algae growth, I pretty much ripped up the sump and redid a lot of things including bigger return pumps, GFO, filter sock, dosing kalk… etc. source
This is an ugly update. The new male Yasha goby is still MIA after the initial introduction. The dino algae is not receding so I will be covering up the tank again with h2o2 dosing. I plan to start taking steps to raise the tank pH into the 8.3-8.4 range to see if it would […]

Not the most beautiful update but it can’t always be rainbow & unicorn! Tank is going through a vicious algae bloom, I also gave away some corals so the tank is in a slightly awkward stage at the moment. source
